Anonymous 2016 was an event about privacy, anonimity and identity online, present by my classmates and me and guided by Juha van ‘t Zelfde. The whole event was in our own created Privacy4You Store.
An event with talks by Dries DePoorter, a Belgian media artist whose work is about the internet, privacy, online identity and surveillance. And Evelyn Austin from Bits of Freedom, the leading Dutch digital rights organization, focusing on privacy and communications freedom in the digital age.
We made and showed an encrypted video installation with its own decryption glasses. There was a Privacy Bar where you can learn how to privatize your own phone and computer. And for the event there was a pocket size dictionary. For each letter of the alphabet a term from the themes a privacy, anonimity and identity online.
For this event I focused myself on the pocket size dictionary and created visuals for the video installation.
This event was in co-operation with: Gabrielle Gijsbers, Sjef van Beers, Michelle van Ool and Juul Koene Pictures: Oscar van Leest and Yuri Keukens
